CleanerPools.net was incorporated as a subdivision of Final Filtration, Inc. in November of 1999 as the manufacturer of the Slime Bag™ (patent pending).

CleanerPools.net was founded by David Privitera (of blessed memory) in 1999. Mr. Privitera's 25 years of experience in the filtration business allowed CleanerPools.net to apply the principals of filtration used in pure water, drinking water, and wastewater to the swimming pool market.

Mr. Privitera saw a need in the swimming pool market for a product that could filter water at 1 micron while at the same time eliminating millions of gallons of wasted water. This vision led him to develop the Slime Bag™.
